SoapBox, Microsoft’s video sharing site just went public a few days ago. It’s now out of the beta stage. I’ve been participating in the beta version for months now and I hope they have fixed some of the kinks out. Most notably the one where users using IE won’t be able to play the videos while logged in. Had to use Firefox for that in the meantime.
I actually prefer using SoapBox over other video sharing communities like YouTube, FlickLife and etc since the others just seem to be a little bit messy and hard to browse around. The UI is more streamlined also and they incorporated a few Ajax functionality here and there so you get more things done in lesser time. You should definitely try it out.
I’m hoping that more and more users get to use this service so that there’ll be a lot more selection of video contents to choose from. Compared to YouTube, SoapBox is still a baby. heheh! It’s not quite well established yet but I’m sure we’ll be seeing changes in the next couple of months.
Here’s a video I’d like to share. Enjoy!ü

Hmm… I wonder why they named it SoapBox? Incidently I am using a jabber client with the same name.
